Water Conservation and Management
In line with our commitment to achieving our ESG goals and becoming water neutral by 2025, we have initiated the ‘Jal Kavach’ project in partnership with Yuva Mitra in Maharashtra, India. The project is being implemented in more than 19 villages in the Nashik and Aurangabad districts of Maharashtra, India. Its primary objective is to create additional water storage capacity by rejuvenating water bodies in the region. Access to clean and sufficient water is essential for the well-being and empowerment of communities.
This initiative aligns with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, which emphasize the importance of sustainable water resource management for the well-being of communities and the environment. It also reflects our ESG strategy, which prioritizes responsible and sustainable practises. By actively working on the ‘Jal Kavach’ project, we are taking a significant step towards achieving a more sustainable future through water conservation.
