Glenmark' s wholly owned Czech subsidiary, Glenmark Pharmaceuticals s.r.o. has a manufacturing facility situated at Vysoke Myto, Czech Republic. This is around 150 kms from Prague. The primary role of this facility is releasing, manufacturing, packaging, storage and distribution of pharmaceutical products either Glenmark' s or from third parties. This manufacturing facility, formerly known as Medicamenta, was set-up in 1952. Currently it holds an authorization to manufacture medicines, to distribute pharmaceutical products to the Czech & Slovak Republics and also to Poland and Romania. The manufacturing facility is GMP certified by the Czech regulatory authority SUKL and currently produces solid-orals and holds authorization for import from foreign countries.
